Free After Effects Template: Editable Transitions and Titles
Original guide published August 8, 2026. Source updated September 14, 2026. English edition October 10, 2026 · By Lienzo.
Use a ready-made project as a starting point for a YouTube video or client edit. The main download contains one After Effects .aep project with editable transitions and titles, accompanied by credits. This guide explains how to open a copy, replace text, check framing, and adjust timing.
The additional intro videos linked below are references. They are not extra projects included in the main download.

What's included—and what to check
The compressed download contains the main .aep project and credits. The source inspection did not identify an additional assets folder. Editable transitions can bridge two clips; animated titles can carry your own message. Open the relevant composition and inspect its layers rather than assuming every control affects the whole project.
Before editing, check warnings about missing fonts, effects, files, and project conversion. A minimum After Effects version and a complete dependency list have not been established through current cross-version opening and rendering tests. A successful archive download does not prove compatibility with your installation.

Make the template fit your brand
Replace the text
Edit the title's text layer. Check font size, line breaks, and safe margins. Review the entrance and exit too: a word that fits when stationary can be cropped during movement.
Adjust the colors
Look for composition color controls first. Change one and inspect which layers respond. If some elements keep their original color, inspect their fills and effects separately. Check the palette over the actual footage.
Adjust the timing
For proportional timing changes, scale the selected keyframes together. For larger changes, review the precomposition's time-stretch behavior. After any change, check motion blur, the start and end of the transition, and whether the frame remains fully covered.
Add a sound cue only where it supports the cut. Explore the sound effects library, or use the dedicated text animation template for kinetic typography.
Additional intro references
The channel also shows a channel intro template demonstration and dynamic openings for social videos. These links open reference videos; they do not extend the contents of this RAR. Check each resource article for its actual download.
A short test before the full render
- Set the target framing and replace a title with “Make it your own.” Check its margins after the entrance.
- Place the transition between the title card and a screen recording. Step through the cut to find any uncovered or black frame.
- Render that section. Check fonts, transparency, edges, and the final frame before repeating the treatment across the video.
This is an editing exercise, not an additional composition promised in the download. For vertical delivery, reposition titles and elements; changing only composition width and height may crop the animation. Check your computer against the official Adobe system requirements. The AEP's file size does not determine preview memory needs.
