Legal notice and terms of use

Who operates this site, what you can do with its resources, and what is not guaranteed.

Transparency

This is a personal website operated from Colombia, not an online store. The Spanish notice explains that the Spanish obligation to publish a legal notice does not apply to its operator and that Article 50 of Colombia's Law 1480 of 2011 concerns suppliers offering products electronically. This page is provided for transparency about the person behind the site.

The operator does not publish an identity-document number, tax identification number, or telephone number. The Spanish notice explains this in relation to the site's current non-selling configuration. Email is a working channel read by the operator. If the site begins selling, these details and terms must be reviewed before that change.

What this site is—and is not

Lienzo is a personal project offering free design, web, and marketing tools and resources, connected to the YouTube channel of the same name.

• It does not sell products: no store, prices, payment gateway, or subscriptions. Current resources are free.
• It does not provide professional services through this site. Articles and guides are information, not design, legal, tax, or marketing advice for your circumstances.
• Using the site does not create a contractual relationship or an obligation to provide support, maintenance, or continuity.
• It is static, without an application backend or proprietary databases.
• There are no accounts or registration. The Spanish “Mi lienzo” area uses browser localStorage, not an account; see the privacy policy.

Intellectual property

The site's source code, design, styles, articles, guides, Lienzo name and logo, and original tools are the operator's work, protected under Colombian copyright law. Website authorship is distinct from authorship of downloadable resources. Collaborative packs are identified as such; libraries, fonts, and other components retain their respective owners' rights.

Lienzo's guides, examples, organization, and supporting materials do not replace collaborators' credits or turn collective work into exclusive authorship. See licenses and attributions, each pack's page, and the Lienzo License.

Permitted use

• Use tool output in personal or commercial projects, respecting incorporated materials' licenses. Lienzo does not claim rights over your work.
• Quote short article excerpts with attribution and a link to the original.
• Link to any page on this site.

Not permitted

• Republish complete articles, translated or rewritten, on another site.
• Copy the site's design and code to create a clone.
• Use the Lienzo name or logo to imply your project is operated or endorsed by Lienzo.

Downloads and their origin

Downloads are offered through Lienzo's articles, which provide instructions and download buttons. Some files are hosted by MediaFire. YouTube provides tutorials and directs visitors to the blog; it is not the file-download host. Hosting a file or editing it with a particular program does not establish authorship.

The operator identifies glitch sound effects, audio transitions, and After Effects templates as his creations, offered for personal and commercial projects, including client work. Credit to Lienzo is optional; cite the channel when practical.

For vectors and 3D scenes, the operator states that he participated in their creation team and has permission to distribute them through this site, including scenes editable in Spline. This does not claim exclusive authorship or remove other participants' rights.

Creative collaboration is credited to MD Estudio Creativo · Creativo Marketing Digital, as indicated by the operator for the published icons and other resources, including audio, After Effects, and 3D scenes. Lienzo is the distribution channel; file-specific credits and licenses remain applicable.

• Read each pack's terms and keep component credits and notices.
• Distribution permissions are distinct from acquisition-platform licenses. To share a download, link to the Lienzo article.
• Report incorrect files or missing credits to contacto@lienzo.tools with the page URL.
• Availability and contents may change; a pack can be withdrawn.

Tool output

Lienzo claims no rights over your files or work with its tools. Materials you incorporate retain their authorship and licenses. Tool inputs are processed inside your browser and are not uploaded or stored on a server. Read the Lienzo License and privacy policy.

Acceptable use

The site is intended for direct use by people. Automated bulk downloading through scrapers, bots, or scripts, copying the whole or part of the resource catalog to another download site, automated tool use that degrades service, and presenting the site or resources as your own are not permitted. Resources may be incorporated into your work, not circulated again as an equivalent catalog.

Third-party services

External services apply their own terms and privacy policies. The operator does not control their availability, content, security, or data practices:

• Google Fonts: Spanish pages may request fonts externally, communicating IP address and browser information during loading. Current English pages use local fonts.
• MediaFire: hosts some downloadable packs.
• YouTube: hosts embedded demonstrations, tutorials, and the Lienzo channel. Video descriptions direct visitors to the download guides.
• Spline: supplies the program used by live 3D previews.

Report an external link that leads somewhere inappropriate.

Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of responsibility

Tools, generators, templates, resources, and content are provided as is, without a guarantee of error-free operation, continuous availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

• You decide how, where, and why to use downloaded files and generated code, and are responsible for those decisions.
• Generated code is a starting point. Test it within your project before production or client use.
• Guides reflect information available when written and may become outdated.
• To the extent permitted by Colombian law, the operator assumes no liability for direct or indirect damage resulting from use of the site, tools, or linked resources.

Reasonable efforts are made to maintain the site, without a promise of uninterrupted or error-free service.

Advertising

Google AdSense is the site's intended advertising-funding mechanism for keeping resources free and registration-free. Advertising providers independently control data collected through their ads; the operator does not access that data. This description of the configuration does not assert that a new review has been approved. Current English pages do not include the advertising tag.

See the privacy policy for processing and advertising controls, and the cookie policy for storage and consent. Ads, where served, must remain separate from editorial content. Paid articles and sponsored mentions must be identified.

Applicable law

The operator is an individual based in Colombia and subject to Colombian law. This explains the site's legal setting; it is not a contractual jurisdiction clause imposed on visitors, since browsing creates no contractual relationship.

• Law 527 of 1999: electronic commerce, data messages, and digital signatures.
• Law 23 of 1982: copyright.

Mandatory rights recognized by the law of your country of residence remain unaffected. For Colombian personal-data protection, the competent authority is the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC), through its data-protection delegation, under Article 19 of Law 1581. Article 16 requires first completing an inquiry or complaint with the controller. Procedures, timeframes, and channels appear in the privacy policy.

Changes and questions

If the site changes in a way that affects this notice, such as selling products or changing pack conditions, this page and its update date will be revised. Email contacto@lienzo.tools with questions.
