50 Free VR and AR Icons in SVG and PNG

Original guide published August 23, 2026. Source updated September 14, 2026. English edition October 10, 2026 · By Lienzo.

A headset icon cannot explain every immersive action. This pack includes 50 virtual reality and augmented reality icons: headsets, controllers, holograms, sensors, 360° content, motion tracking, and five distinct AR compositions. Both color variants are included; the original archive keeps Spanish filenames.

What's included

The Spanish preparation record documents a 13% reduction in SVG weight. Five originally ambiguous AR filenames were renamed according to their different drawings.

Choose VR or AR by the action

VR replaces the user's view with a simulated environment. Headsets, virtual tours, and simulation symbols fit that use. AR places digital elements over the real world. The five AR files describe different arrangements: ar-pantalla (screen), ar-movil (phone), ar-cubo (object), ar-holograma, and ar-gesto (gesture).

PNG inside the experience, SVG around it

Raster textures are useful for interfaces rendered by a game engine. Import a PNG through your engine's image or texture workflow and review its compression settings. Aggressive compression can damage clean edges. Test inside the headset at the actual viewing distance and against the scene background.

SVG remains useful for the product website, presentations, and editable mockups. To change colors, use a vector editor, inspect fill values, or follow the SVG color guide (Spanish). A color that reads well on a monitor may disappear inside a headset.

Example: three distinct immersive actions

  1. Explore the 360° tour. Use a tour symbol and explain whether a headset is required.
  2. View in my room. Use an AR composition only if the product actually supports placement in the environment.
  3. Rotate the model. Keep a visible mouse or touch instruction for controlling the object.

The pack provides graphics, not a viewer, camera tracking, or interaction code. Test each route on supported devices. Prefer distinct silhouettes, keep labels, and use a backing plate when the real-world background makes contrast unpredictable.

Questions before downloading

Does the pack include working VR scenes?

No. It contains SVG and PNG graphic files. Your application supplies rendering, tracking, and interactive behavior.

What distinguishes the AR files?

The five ar- compositions represent screens, phones, objects, holograms, and gestures. They are different drawings, not duplicate filenames.

How should I check readability?

Test the icon inside the headset, at its intended distance, against the actual background. Keep a text label and choose a simpler silhouette when details disappear.
